Charity Shopping

Hello Lovelies,

I've spent the day scouring the charity shops in Skipton looking for Items I can use in a new challenge post i've signed up to. All will be revealed shortly.

Skipton has a number of charity shops and some are a bit nicer than your average charity shop. The one I mean called Birdcage and I have always classed it as a vintage shop however they are a registered charity so it still counts. I am going to do a separate post about this shop as I took loads of photos and I could live in there.

 Even the bags are cute.

I spent £6 in this shop on 2 sets of vintage buttons

If you know me, you will know I am slightly obsessed with buttons. Always have been, always will be.

I also got this really cute Pelican brooch. He was £3 and I was thinking of the charity shop post  and he might feature.

My main aim of charity shopping is to buy books, I read a lot so buy for charity shops. I picked this up mainly based on the fact I loved the book Room by the same author.

I am always on the lookout for leopard print, I got a brand new with tags Primark jersey pencil skirt for £2.99. I was worried it wouldn't fit or be way too VBL but it seems fine, so wooo

I've saved the best for last, my favourite charity shop is Tia Greyhound, they tend to have a lot of recently released books for under £1. They have moved to a much nicer shop since we last went to Skipton and we popped in. I didn't find any books but I did get 2 scarves and a black Accessorise bag for a total of £3. The scarves are a bit crazy but I do love them.

  1. I've had some amazing bargins over the past year or so. I've had quite a few new items new with tags that are still on sale. One of my favourite charity shops gets a lot of items donated from the shops on the retail park it's on and catalogue seconds so its always worth a browse! x
