30 Day challenge - Day 13

hello Lovelies,

Day 13,  Issue a public apology.

Dear Readers,

I would like to apologise for my lack of spelling, punctuation and many other errors i'm sure you have all been aware of for some time.

I did get a B in GCSE English Language however this was after a resit and I'm not entirely sure how that happened.

I know the differences between many of the common errors however there is often a malfunction somewhere between screen and seat.

If these errors are really bad then i'd like to apologise but really why are you still here?!

if you love me you love my faults. I read lots of angry tweets about people seeing errors on blogs and it can rile me. I blog for me and I love it but I often feel paranoid, especially when people but those "funny" pictures up about all the mistakes and often I can't see any!

I do see the errors here but come on folks, it's not the end of the world!

Is this lack of education? No I GCSE's, A Levels even a degree. I know for a fact I spelt the word programme wrong on a whole assignment about educational programming during my PGCE and I still passed (I see you tutting, please move along)

This started as an apology but really I'm not sorry, I'm angry that my brain won't always allow me to type what I mean and not spot errors when I proof.

I shall leave this here.

  1. Love it, I have a degree in English but sometimes something goes wrong between my brain and my fingers when I start typing!!! I agree in the grand scheme of things does it really matter?! My stupid computer wants to spell everything the American way as well! xx

  2. I used to be a bit of a grammar nazi. I had a grammar school education which I was very proud of, but I was lucky to have it. Now the tables are turned and Fibromyalgia makes me forget how to spell and punctuate a lot (spell check helps), so the boot is on the other foot and I'm sympathetic now, as I should've been before! I don't think spelling and grammar mistakes take away from the gist of a blog at all, by the way. x x
