Day 23 and it's time to talk about hair in my Blogging Every Day challenge.
My hair routine is pretty straightforward, I wash it, I brush it, I more often than not tie it up, grip it up or just do nothing.
I thought I'd talk you through the main products I'm using at the moment.
My current Shampoo and Conditioners are the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay combo. If you've watched one of my empties video's I mention the pre-shampoo treatmentwhich turned my hands green. I'd bought them as a three for two but I love these two products. They almost make up for the other one turning my hands green.
When I first started using them I didn't think much of them, but I didn't have to wash my hair of often and when I finished the first set I missed them. The other shampoo I was using didn't make my hair as clean and I had to wash my hair more often. These are reasonably priced about £4-5 each but as I'm a cheapsake I tend to buy £1 shampoo's or wait for offers. I decided to bite the bullet to get another set and they were on half price in Boots. I love it when I get a bargain without expecting it.
I'm also using Aussie 3 minute Miracle the winter edition. This has a different smell than the regular one and doesn't feel quite as moisturising, I only use this one or twice a month but I do like it for the ends of my hair.
Shall we look at styling products next? My saviour now i'm washing my hair less is Batiste. I've tried lost of products over the years but I always go back to it and I have 3 cans of it on the go at the moment. I tend to by the original or fresh scents but I branched out and bought blush. I haven't used it yet but I have used in the past.
I also picked up a can of the L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay dry shampoo which was also half price and I really like it. Maybe even more so than Batiste. I will be picking up more once I've used some of these up.
The final product is new to me and I bought it as a replacement to a Toni & Guy product i've been using on and off for about 18 month. It is the V05 Plump it up spray. This is somewhere between a dry shampoo and a hairspray. I think it's officially a texturing spray. I've only used it a couple of times but it works for when I do my twisty grippy up to keep it in place without having to use hairspray.
