Just another blogging Challenge....

Evening Lovelies,

I'm a touch late with this, good intentions again but I've had a busy few days sparked by a trip to housing units in Hollinwood which does actually feature in this post

This time we are getting all festive.

My family is usually quite unfestive decoratively if we have a tree it might not go up until Xmas eve occasionally we'll have a bowl of baubles and some lights.

At work we can't decorate until December, I was thinking of missing this months post but as I keep going on about i'm getting my room done up so we had a trip to Housing Units in Hollinwood to look at wardrobes and so my mum could drool over sofa's.

We have found a potential wardrobe if fitted wardrobes are too expensive. We also had a wander round the festive section and I took some pictures not even thinking about blogging them.

Outside Santa has Parked his reindeer in the stable

Inside he's checking the naughty and nice list (I'm on the nice i'm sure)

Someone buy santa a Quadband phone for chrimbo

I was a magpie in a previous life, look at the sparkle ooooo sparkle

They had a lighty up animals, think of an animal and they're sure to have one festooned with a light bulb!

Festive goose?

This was at my eye level, I almost screemed!

I'll have mine on a plate with orange sauce please

I love the tree

And please can I have a lighty up penguin?

How festive do you get?

30x30 week 2

Sunday, November 24, 2013

Hey Lovelies,

It's time for my 2nd weeks update. I don't feel as organised or prepared this week. Mainly because i've been busy at work and I've made a mess of my paper spreadsheet. Yes I have a paper copy as well!

This week I've worn the following items

OOO no photo! It was the black Excite dress

No photo :(

A quick flash of the old spreadsheet for you, as we can see my black cardie and jeggins have been my most worn items and I've planned this coming weeks outfit from the clothes I haven't worn yet.

and not to forget the graph

I also need to buy some more batteries for my camera as they've died again!

I'm also looking to buy a tripod but don't know which one to get any recommendations would be appreciated, also one I can buy from Amazon (I've got vouchers!)

#OMCZ 20 - The Colour of Confidence

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

Hey Lovelies,

It's time for the 20th instalment of #OMCZ. This theme was picked by Vicky who has stepped away from the challenge but as it's such an amazing theme I decided we'd run with it.

Date Due: Wednesday, 20th November
Challenge: "The Colour of Confidence"

Vicky wrote:
"My theme is going to "The Colour of Confidence". For me, red is the colour of confidence and everything I wear it, be it lipstick or clothing; I feel an extra boost. What is your confidence colour?"

My go to colour is blue, I'm drawn to it, I adore it and I love wearing it.

This particular dress is one i'd been lusting after for quite some time and I finally found it in the Evans Sale for £20.

It's a Scarlett & Jo one and I love everything about it. The colour, the spots, the style.

I'm not quite sure why my photo's are so fuzzy they look fine in windows photo viewer!

As you all with know I'm doing the 30 x 30 challenge at the moment and I already knew the theme so I made sure I included the dress.

I wore this outfit last Saturday to watch Singing in the Rain and I wore it with my ancient Blue Necklace from Primark that even about 7 years on I wear a lot and my blue watch from bijou brigitte while I was on Holiday for 15 Euros and My Blue back from Primark.

As it was freezing I also wore my Navy Blue Parker!

It's safe to say I love blue, it's my favourite colour.

What's your favourite colour?

Carex Handcream - Giveaway win

Monday, November 18, 2013

Hey Lovelies,

I'm sure I shared this on Instagram and Twitter but I've waited to blog about this product until I had used it.

While I was on holiday I found out I'd won some Carex Hand cream from Face Value Beauty Blog

While hand cream might not be the most exciting prize to win, I was pretty excited as I get really dry hands and am still looking for my perfect hand cream. I hate paying a lot for it as often it goes to waste in a drawer and I moan about it.

I took this hand cream to work as the hand wash in our loo's makes value washing up liquid feel like the most high quality expensive hand wash in the world.

I use this hand cream about 4 times a day and my hands are feeling good, what I also like is the antibacterial action, I don't need two separate products.

I haven't really noticed a smell from this product and a little seems to go a long way, which is good as i'm prone to getting eczema in winter and while I can feel the tingle of it trying to come out it's being kept at bay so far!

I'm really impressed and I'm going to get some more once I've run out. Which for me says a lot, it's rare for me to buy the same product on the run!

I'm still open to suggestions for other hand creams but for about £2.50 a tube this this defo high up there for me.

30 x 30 Outfit Challenge Week One Round Up

Sunday, November 17, 2013

Morning Lovelies,

As you have probably seen myself, Toni, Laura and Mookie are all having a go at 30 x 30 Outfit Challenge.

I was a bit over eager and started last Saturday so I have a full 7 outfits to show you.

I don't have a work uniform and the dress code business dress with a casual Friday chucked in to cheer us up.

This week I've worn 15 items of clothing, and if you have eagle eyes (or not) you might have spotted Sunday and Friday I worn Identical outfits!

Does this still count? I didn't realise until I was sorting out the photo's.

I need some lessons in posing for photo's and most of the photo's are taken at 6.30am and I'm not quite awake at that time!

Here is a quick flash of my trusty spreadsheet! I jokingly said I was going to make a pie chart but my pie chart making skills are a bit rusty and I could only get it to show three things!

I made a bar chart instead!

What do you  think of my first 7 days?

30x30 Outfit Challenge - Pink Clove Wrap Dress

Saturday, November 16, 2013

Hey Lovelies,

Tomorrow I'm going to do a re-cap of all the outfits I've worn this week (Saturday - Friday)

A couple of weeks ago Pink Clove had a sale on and I got a few items and most of them will feature in this challenge at some point and I thought I'd do a quick one off posts about one of the items from that order.

I wasn't 100% convinced about this dress on the website and the photo's on there really don't do it justice (In my opinion)

My mum opened the package as I'd ordered a couple of things for her and she texted me to tell me the dress looked so much nicer in real life (big woo)

For me this dress is perfect for work, it's soft jersey. It has a mock wrap so no chance of flashing, however I did wear a vest underneath but I think I could have got away with out it.

I really like this dress and only cost £9, I've just checked and it's still available on their website

My New Light Shade - Part Two

Friday, November 15, 2013

Hey Lovelies,
Yesterday I told you about my new light fitting, while I was editing some other photo's I found all these on my proper camera.

They show it off so much better than my camera phone pictures!

It's safe to say I'm in love!

Let there be light

Thursday, November 14, 2013

Hey Lovelies,

Another instalment of Stephanie is trying to do her room up!

I've been looking at light shades for months, my old light shade was a silver coloured silk affair from ASDA years ago. It did it's job (it shaded the light)

It was a bit boring and my room was quite dark.

I managed to take my old shade down by pulling my bed into the middle of the room and standing on my tip toes. I didn't manage to get my new one up.

3 days later my papa got me some ladders and I got the new one up.

I love this shade. It was £14.99 from TK Maxx which is a really good price.

I've been looking for a long time and I seem to like shades no cheaper than £25.

It's nice and simple but elegant and while I haven't decided on any other elements of my new room yet. it should in theory go with everything.

What do you think?

30 x 30 Outfit Challenge Outfit 2

Tuesday, November 12, 2013

Hey Lovelies,

I was going to make you wait for another outfit post a little while longer, but as i've been tweeting quite a lot I decided to give you Outfit number 2.

I wore Items 3 & 29

I adore this grey spotty sweatshirt from Sainsbury's. I got it a couple of weeks ago.

It was reduced to £6 I think and the jeans are also from Sainsburys. They weren't on the sale rail but there was a 25% off event so I only paid £12 for them.

I wore this outfit on Sunday for a spot of shopping.

There are 3 other lovelies taking part please give them a visit as well.
