My latest Glamour Beauty Box
Sunday, April 13, 2014
Hey Lovelies,
I recently treated myself to the Latest In Beauty Glamour Beauty Edit box. I'm really pleased with this box and it is the second Glamour Box i've had.
What I like best is knowing what will be in the box before it arrives, and it is a nice treat to get.
They are also beautifully wrapped and would be great as a gift for someone, I got my mum the last box for Christmas and then I got myself one as I didn't want to be left out!
I haven't tried everything in the box yet but I will use 99% of it and for me it is money well spent. I was looking at this nail polish in superdrug the day before I ordered the box and I was really glad it was included. It's not a colour I would have gone for but I really love it.
The eye line is one I won't be using and not because it's blue but because my mum snagged it out of my hands as soon as I opened the box. I don't know if she's used it yet, I must check with her at some point.
Again I haven't tried this as yet but I have used another one of their shower gels and if this is half as nice I'll be happy.
It was a bit gloopy on the first application so I needed to wipe the brush but I think that is the case with a lot of products. I didn't let it put me off and this is one I will be re buying.
I'm excited for my hair to grow so I can use them, I thought how will they be invisible in my hair but a quick google search revealed they are not designed to be hidden in your hair but they are designed not to leave a kink in your hair when you take them out!
I've given one to a girl at work to try and she said it seemed pretty secure. I wore it as a braclet on my way into work so I wouldn't forget to give it too her and it didn't cut off the circulation and it went back to almost it's original size once I'd taken it off my wrist.

What did I get? Invisibobbles, L'oreal Manag eye mascara, Daniel Sander eye liner, Percy & Reed hair mousse, Cheeky nail paint, Burt Bee's lip balm and Rituals shower gel.

The lip balm is another product i'd been looking at. I buy lip balms use them three times and leave them in a coat pocket or handbag and never use them again.
But this is one I'll be keeping handy as it really seemed to improve my lips after a couple of used (errr and yes I did lose it and found it in a coat pocket yesterday)

This is posibily the only product I won't use, I buy hair products and I have a vanity case full of them but I just don't use them.
Mascara, it's so important to change regularly and again this is one i'd been looking at getting and couldn't decide if I was being sucked it or not. I've used it a couple of times and I really like it.

Invisbobble, not suprisingly I haven't tried these yet. Well I have I got half my hair in a pineapple on top of my head, but thats just between us!

I don't think I'd subscribe to a regular beauty box, especially if it was a "surprise" box but depending on the contents I would get another Glamour box.
